Hello lovelies!

I am Brooklynn, a 22 year old Okanagan girl who recently moved to the ‘big city’ aka Vancouver. I have a passion for fashion, fitness, health, and design. On brooklynn hocken you will see my work portfolio, fashion trends/outfits, my favourite beauty products, healthy living/food, and much more.

 

I am a student from JCI Vancouver, I will be graduating August 2022 with a Fashion Business and Creative Arts Diploma. On the polar opposite of fashion, I have taken my first-year bachelor sciences and my first year of a business degree at the Okanagan College. My experience with fashion school has led me to a fashion marketing internship where I created social media content and a current internship in fashion wholesale. Other opportunities consist of helping with showrooms and sample sales that have brands like Free the People, Lamarque, Vitamin A Swimwear, and Gentle Fawn.

 

I am currently figuring out a career post-graduation. I am a creative individual who would love to dive deeper into design and help bring beautiful ideas to life, or assist influencers that have the same values/interests and be inspired and get inspired.

 

“Be your kind, beautiful, genuinely authentic self.” This saying resonates with me as I believe when a person is kind and genuine with their words and actions, and is just themselves- no superficial qualities- that is a beautiful person. Those are the people I want in my life. I try to live through these words, have a positive attitude, and be optimistic in life.

 

brooklynn hocken is going to be real content about my life. This is about loving yourself, balance, and I hope to inspire others around me.

 

I am such a foodie. I love healthy foods that benefit me, but I also have an actual addiction to chocolate. BALANCE. I love fitness; whether it is hiking in the Okanagan, spin at Ride Cycle Club, barre with Barre Lab (I am in the midst of getting my instructor certification), or I love a good hot girl walk down by the water.
